Armstrong AX-180 Pre-Charged ASME Horizontal Expansion Tank – 90.0 gal (340.7 L)
The Armstrong AX-180 is a pre-charged ASME horizontal diaphragm expansion tank for closed hydronic heating and cooling systems. A heavy-duty butyl diaphragm separates the system water from a pre-charged air cushion, absorbing thermal expansion and keeping system pressure stable. Tank volume is 90.0 gal (340.7 L) with an acceptance volume of 73.0 gal (276.3 L), rated for a maximum working pressure of 125 psi (862 kPa).
