    • Flo-Trex Grooved Straight & Angle 2.5"-12"

    Armstrong Flo-Trex Valves Straight and Angle, Grooved Sizes 2.5" – 12"

    Armstrong Flo-Trex valves with grooved ends in straight and angle patterns from 2.5" to 12", with a ductile iron body and optional Armgrip™ flange adapters. A Flo-Trex valve is installed on the discharge side of a pump and combines three valves in one body: a non-slam check valve, a tight shut-off valve and a calibrated balancing (throttling) valve with metering ports for flow measurement. Replacing three separate fittings with one reduces equipment cost, installation labour and the space needed in the mechanical room.

    • Body: Ductile iron, ASTM A536 grade 65-45-12
    • Disc: Brass, ASTM B584 C84400
    • Seat guide: High strength engineered resin
    • Seat gasket & O-ring: EPDM
    • Stem: Stainless steel, ASTM A582 type 416
    • Spring: Stainless steel, ASTM A313 type 302
    • Bonnet O-ring: Buna N
    • Metering ports (2): NPT brass body with EPT check and gasketed cap
    • Drain tappings (2): ¼" with brass plug
    • Armgrip™ flange adapter (optional): Ductile iron, ASTM A536 grade 65-45-12, with EPT gaskets
    • Pressure-temperature limits depend on the end connection: (A) Armgrip ductile iron flange adapters for ANSI 150# flanges, (B) Armgrip ductile iron flange adapters for ANSI 300# flanges, or (C) grooved ends with a 375 psi rated pipe coupling. B and C carry the higher rating – see the pressure-temperature chart in the submittal.
    • EPT elastomers are not suitable for oil service.
