    Armstrong Flo-Trex Valves – Model FTST (Threaded)

    Armstrong Model FTST threaded Flo-Trex valves in 2" and 2½" NPT, combining a check valve, balancing valve and tight shut-off valve in one cast iron body. A Flo-Trex valve is installed on the discharge side of a pump and combines three valves in one body: a non-slam check valve, a tight shut-off valve and a calibrated balancing (throttling) valve with metering ports for flow measurement. Replacing three separate fittings with one reduces equipment cost, installation labour and the space needed in the mechanical room.

    • Spring: Stainless steel
    • Acts as a check valve, balancing valve and tight shut-off valve.
    • Spring-loaded clapper, built for quiet operation.
    • For installation in horizontal or vertical pipe lines.
    • Schrader metering connections are provided.
    • Companion flanges are not included with flanged connections.
