Armstrong AX-280 Pre-Charged ASME Horizontal Expansion Tank – 211.0 gal (798.7 L)
The Armstrong AX-280 is a pre-charged ASME horizontal diaphragm expansion tank for closed hydronic heating and cooling systems. A heavy-duty butyl diaphragm separates the system water from a pre-charged air cushion, absorbing thermal expansion and keeping system pressure stable. Tank volume is 211.0 gal (798.7 L) with an acceptance volume of 171.0 gal (647.3 L), rated for a maximum working pressure of 125 psi (862 kPa).
