Armstrong AX-100 Pre-Charged ASME Horizontal Expansion Tank – 60.0 gal (227.1 L)
The Armstrong AX-100 is a pre-charged ASME horizontal diaphragm expansion tank for closed hydronic heating and cooling systems. A heavy-duty butyl diaphragm separates the system water from a pre-charged air cushion, absorbing thermal expansion and keeping system pressure stable. Tank volume is 60.0 gal (227.1 L) with an acceptance volume of 48.5 gal (183.6 L), rated for a maximum working pressure of 125 psi (862 kPa).
