Armstrong AST-5 Domestic Hot Water Expansion Tank – 3.5 gal (13.2 L)
The Armstrong AST-5 is a pre-charged ASME diaphragm expansion tank for domestic hot water systems. Its polypropylene liner and stainless steel system connection keep potable water away from the steel shell, and it complies with NSF/ANSI Standard 61. It can also be used as a drawdown tank for pressure booster systems. Tank volume is 3.5 gal (13.2 L) with an acceptance volume of 2.3 gal (8.7 L), rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi (1034 kPa).
