Product Description
Armstrong SG-1614 Suction Guide – 16" x 14" ANSI 150 Flanged
The Armstrong SG-1614 suction guide is a large-diameter ANSI 150 flanged suction guide with a 16" inlet from the system and a 14" outlet to the pump. Installed at the suction side of a centrifugal pump, it turns the flow 90°, straightens it with internal guide vanes and strains out debris before it reaches the pump – replacing an elbow, strainer and straight run of pipe in one fitting. It has a carbon steel body, guide vanes and cover plate, a stainless steel strainer and a reversible hinged cover as standard, and is rated for 175 psig and 300°F.
